June 6th & 7th:
No more homework! We’re ready to party!
Fun filled days of getting ready for summer fun. A great opportunity for our youngest school agers to get ready for summer camp.
June 8th & 9th:
Art Start Studio :
Our youngest school agers will head on their first real field trip to Art Start Studio. They will work to make a treasure box to hold all of their findings throughout the rest of the summer.
June 11th:
Fitness Friday
We’ll head to the local parks for a day of fun in the sun! Bring your library card as we check out some new books as well!
FOSS Swim School of Blaine
JJ’s Jam will be partnering with Foss Swim School to provide private swimming lessons during the day. All transportation and lesson fees are included and your child will receive high quality fun lessons that will help keep them safe in the water this summer! Lessons are Monday through Thursday afternoons for the first two full weeks of summer!
Over the two weeks, the children will participate in 30 minute leveled swimming lessons each day, Mon-Thurs. The JJ’s Jam staff will be with your children every step of the way as we work with the swimming instructors to encourage success and comfort in the water!
***Please note that there is a non-refundable swimming registration fee of $96 that must be paid in full at the time of registration to reserve your child’s place in with the Foss Swim School. This fee is equal to 8 lessons at $12 per lesson and is in addition to the weekly camp cost.
Foss Swim School is one of the most highly respected swimming schools in the Twin Cities. The Foss swim curriculum has been developed over the last 16 years to be effective for children of all comforts and swimming abilities. The Foss Swim School of Blaine offers 1:7 teacher to child ratios, quality instructors, 91 degree water, new facilities and a whole lot of fun! JJ’s Jam is excited to offer this service your families in cooperation with the Foss Swim School!
Week 2: June 13-17 Swim Into Summer at Foss Swim School
Monday-Thursday: FOSS Swim School of Blaine: 30 minute swimming lessons 12:30-2:30
Friday: Tropic’s Indoor Water Park & Tropical Adventure Play Ground
Crawl through the caves and swing through the jungle in Tropics Adventure’s 5 level indoor play area. We’ll the head to the water park as the kids conquer The Shark Attack Slide and have fun under the squirting palm trees!
***All swimming facilities visited by JJ’s Jam are maintained and supervised by trained lifeguards at the swimming facilities. Teacher to child ratios are kept at 1:7 or 1:5 for safety in the water.
Week 3: June 20-24 Swim the Day Away as FOSS Swim School Continues
Monday-Thursday: FOSS Swim School of Blaine: 30 minute swimming lessons 12:30-2:30
Friday: Wild Woods Water Park
Step back in time to an old river town and experience the thrill of this 30,000 square foot water park! Slide down one of our amazing four-story waterslides, including two tube slides and one body slide or circle the Prospector’s Pan before you make a splash. For smaller children, Buddy’s Play land offers a zero-depth entry pool with toys and activities for every age and swimming level.
Week 4: June 27- July 1 The Heave Ho Challenge
Tuesday: Team Building with Rick Rassier
Team builder Rick Rassier will join us to teach us how to work together. We will work as a team to do obstacle courses and be pushed to the limit. Rick will teach us how to reach our fullest potential with a little fun!
Wednesday: French Regional Park
This ropes course will blow your mind! Hundreds of ways to get from here to there! Join your friends as you race from top to bottom!
Thursday: Sky Zone & Indoor Trampoline Park
Bounce around on the biggest trampoline you’ve ever seen! Sky Zone has trampolines from floor to ceiling. No spot is left uncovered in this 3D jumping sensation!
Week 5: July 4-8 All Star Day
Four fun filled days to match your schedule. Register by the day as we head all around town to celebrate.
July 4th: CLOSED for 4th of July
July 5th: Minute to Win It!
We will be playing games from the hit TV show Minute to Win It. Let’s see what team can work together the fastest to win the grand prize!
July 6th: Elm Creek Park Reserve
Elm Creek Park Reserve is all new this year! Just rebuilt, the kids will be able to explore an amazing new park! After lunch we will hit the lake for an afternoon of swimming.
July 7th: Edinbourough Park
Meander through more than 6000 plants trees and flowers as we climb, slide and swing at this larger than life indoor tree house!
July 8th: On a Cruise Ship
Are you Gilligan, the captain, the skipper, or the millionaire? Dress for the part as we recreate Gilligan’s Island on site!
Week 6: July 11-15 Take A Plunge
Tuesday: Cascade Bay Water Park & Mini Golf
Cascade Bay has something for everyone! The little swimmers will play at shipwreck cove and enjoy the sandpiper sandbox! The more experienced swimmers will enjoy the lazy river and the windy water slides. Ready to take a break from the water? Head to the mini golf course!
Wednesday: Bunker Beach
Bunker Beach is all new this year with 6 towering water slides, a 900 foot lazy river and the state’s largest wave pool. They also have a brand new place for our less experienced swimmers with zero depth water slides and more!
Thursday: Edina Aquatic Center
Ride down the twisting water flume, fly through the water on the high flying cable, explore the magic tree house and monkey around in the zero depth pirate ship. Dry off at Oakwood Forest, a tree house themed playground featuring a life size giraffe & hippo!
Week 7: July 18-22 Creating Chaos!
Tuesday: MN Center for the Book Arts
Put on your creative cap with many different activities at MN Book Arts! Our younger kids will learn all about paper making and then make their own accordion books to take home. Our older kids will have an extra challenge to make flag books and thematic pop up books.
Wednesday: Benihana
Learn the art of Japanese cuisine as we head to the kitchen at Benihana. We will see the chef’s in action as they flip, toss, and throw their food creations. The kids will get a chance to make their own sushi too!
Thursday: MN Textile Center
Get your imagination flowing at the textile center as we learn about weaving, quilting, knitting, sewing, lace making, basket making, beading and more. Each of the kids will make their own felt project inspired by different cultures around the world.
Week 8: July 25-29 Wild America
Tuesday: Minnesota Zoo
See animals from around the world! The animals at the MN Zoo are excited to meet you! We’ll do our own tour and then see the zoo from up above as we take a ride on the monorail with a naturalist to answer all of our questions!
Wednesday: Under Water World & The Rain Forest Café
We’ll start our morning with a private tour of The Rain Forest Café and learn all about the animals of the rainforest. We’ll also have a great lunch before heading across the mall to the all new Under Water World to see the animals of the deep sea. You’ll be mesmerized as you see fish, sharks, dolphins, and much more!
Thursday: Rad Zoo Reptile Show
Marvel at the amazing creatures of the reptile and amphibian world including snakes, turtles, lizards, toads, frogs, salamanders, and even CROCODILES! The Rad Zoo will join us at JJ’s Jam for a day of wild and crazy animal fun!
Week 9: August 1-5 Make Em Laugh!
Tuesday: Comedy Sportz
The comedians of Comedy Sportz Show will join us at JJ’s Jam to teach us the secrets of comedy. We’ll get our very own private comedy show and then will learn how to make our friends and families laugh until they cry!
Wednesday: Suburban World Theatre
Nothing is funnier than cartoons! The Suburban World Theatre will take us back in time to the days of Bugs Bunny, Porky the Pig, Road Runner, Wild E Coyote, Tom & Jerry, and more! We’ll see our favorites on the big screen as we eat lunch in the old time theatre!
Friday: Circus Juventas
Join us for the most spectacular show of the summer! At Circus Juventas you’ll see kids your own age fly through the air, jump through hoops, and move in crazy ways!
Week 10: August 8-12 Take it To the Limit
Tuesday: MN Saints Game
MN Saints games are all about fun! Help us cheer on our team at one of the funnest ball parks in America. Madonna the Pink Pig will be there to lead us in a round of “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” as we snack on our favorite ball park food
Wednesday: Vertical Endeavors
No matter what your age or ability level, you’ll be able to climb as high as the sky. Test your endurance as you shimmy up the wall!
Friday: Tour of MN Twins Target Field
Walk through the Twin’s Dugout, run the bases, and take pictures in the press box. See all of the secret places at the Twin’s Stadium that we have never seen before! Maybe we’ll even see a player or two as they hit the practice field!
Week 11: August 16-20 Science Smorgasbord
Tuesday: The Works
At the Works we’ll be “hands on” and “minds on” as we learn about science, technology, and engineering. Kindergarten & 1st grade campers will learn about super circuits and even make a battery powered fan! Older campers will use real tools and make a wooden catapult! See how high and how far you can go!
Wednesday: The Bakken Museum
You will be shocked by all of the amazing things at the Bakken! We will take classes on batteries, magnets, electricity, and more! You’re hair will stand on end as you experience everything the Bakeen has to offer! Join us for an electrifying day!

Week 12: August 22-26 The Best of the Best
Monday: Crazy Caricatures
HaHa Studios will join us on site as we learn the art of Caricatures! We’ll draw our own caricatures and then everyone will get a their own professional picture drawn to take home! Check out kartoons.com to see some of their work!
Wednesday: Buca di Beppo
Its Italian Time! We will have a chance to tour the kitchen and learn the art of making Italian food. The kids will learn how to make noodles, meatballs, pizza, fettuccini, and more!
Thursday: Sky Zone & Indoor Trampoline Park

Week 13: August 29 – September 2 Last Days of Summer
Register by the day to fit your busy end of the year schedule!
Monday: MN State Fair
Join us at the Great MN Get Together! Register early because this day fills up fast! A 1:5 teacher to child ratio at the fair will keep us on the go as we visit the animal barns, education booth, stop at the milk truck, and enjoy a lunch on a stick. No games or rides for us but the day is still all about fun!
Tuesday: Brunswick Zone
We’ll have fun with bowling and games galore. We’ll spend 1 ½ hours bowling with pizza too and then everyone will get a game card to play in the arcade!
Wednesday: Bubble Party!
Let’s get ready to bubble! Dance, sing, laugh, and play games for hours as you are surrounded by hundreds of thousands of bubbles!
Thursday: Magic Mirror Face Painting
Learn the magic art of face painting and go home with a fun looking face too! Go to magicmirrorfacepainting.com to check it out!
