School Release days coincide with the schedule of the area schools. Release days include a full day of fun and learning with frequent field trips to a variety of destinations. Monthly updates will announce field trips & special events. Please see the back of this flier for days that your school is not in session.
Monday, October 8, 2012: Fall Fest in the Park
We’ll head to the local park for a day of Fall fun. Help us find our fall hidden treasure as we had on a treasure hunt at the park too!
Wednesday, October 17, 2012: Sports Center Theme Day
Learn about the world of sports! Bring your footballs and baseball gloves as we head to the local park and play group games all day long!
Thursday, October 18, 2012: FIELD TRIP to MN Base Camp, Bloomington, MN
Base Camp is Minnesota’s newest field trip destination! Be prepared for rock climbing, ropes courses, archery, team building, and more!
Friday, October 19, 2012: Hip Hop with QC Dance
We know that you love to dance! Come ready to move your body as professional Hip Hop instructors from QC Dance Studio join us. This is a perfect day for boys and girls for all ages!
Wednesday, November 21, 2012: Treasure Island Theme Day
Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirate’s Life for Me! We will follow the story of Long John Silver in the Book Treasure Island for an exciting day of adventure and buried treasure. Our day will include following treasure maps to find the treasure that is buried at JJ’s Jam. Even our lunch and snack will be all about pirates!

Monday, December 3, 2012: Games Go Green Theme Day
What games can you make out of recycled goods? Learn how to make your very own games out of garbage and recyclables that you can find in your garbage can. While we’re digging through the trash, we will find some materials that are perfect for making toys too!

Wednesday, December 26, 2012: PJ Party
After the holidays, we all need time to rest. Come to JJ’s Jam right out of bed, still dressed in your pajamas and messy hair! We will relax all day with crafts, stories, and more. We will veg out in front of the big screen for a movie in the afternoon with popcorn too! There will be contests for the messiest hair due and craziest pajamas!
Thursday, December 27, 2012: FIELD TRIP Roseville Oval Ice Skating Rink
Ice skating is a great way to stay active during the winter months! Whether you’re an expert skater or just beginning, The Roseville Oval is the place for you. We will spend the morning zooming across the ice then have hot chocolate before coming back to JJ’s Jam for the afternoon.
Friday, December 28, 2012: FIELD TRIP Zero Gravity Indoor Trampoline Park
Bounce around on the biggest trampoline you’ve ever seen! Zero Gravity has trampolines from floor to ceiling. No spot is left uncovered in this 3D jumping sensation!

Hawaii is a lot closer than you think! We will bring the tropical climate right to JJ’s Jam for an indoor beach party. We will have indoor beach volleyball and be making our own tropical treats.

Step back in time to an old river town and experience the thrill of the 30, 000 square foot water park! Slide down of the amazing four-story waterslides, including two tube slides and one body slide. You can also play in the zero-depth entry pool with toys and activates for every age and swimming level

This is one of the best sledding hills in the area! With for levels of difficulty you can zoom down the hill at your own pace.
Tuesday, February 19, 2013: ArtStart: On Site Class
ArtStart’s traveling art studio, Art Scraps will be visiting JJ’s Jam with their art mobile. We will be learning about the three R’s of art and how to use discards, scraps, and other recycled goods to build and create masterpieces.
Friday, March 8, 2013: Crazy Candies Theme Day
Let’s fill our bellies with sugar! Join us to learn how to make cake pops, shaped candies, hard candies, and more! Everyone will get their own bag to take home to share too!
Monday, March 11, 2013: Taste of Italy Theme Day
All the kid will become great Italian chefs today. We’ll make our own pasta, learn about how to make our own bread and pizza dough, and even make Italian Ices!

Put your coordination and team work to the test. We will spend the day at the park doing crazy relays. Be prepared to be dizzy and out of control!
Friday, March 29, 2013: Art Start On Site Class
Fishing in summer is a pastime in Minnesota and all over the world. Learn the art of printing using fish. Our fish are artificial, but in Japan real fish are used to print. We will print on a variety of papers, but you are welcome to bring your own t-shirts or other light-colored fabric to print on as well.
